Originária de San José, Costa Rica, Shirley ha llamado a Puerto Rico su hogar desde hace más de veinte años.Trabaja como especialista en tecnología del patrimonio cultural, enfocándose en la ideación y gestión de proyectos. Aboga activamente por el desarrollo y el estudio de los videojuegos como "cambiadores de juego" sociales y artefactos culturales. Ha organizado (y presentado) una diversidad de charlas sobre videojuegos como herramientas "serias", incluyendo una serie de charlas celebradas en la Universidad de Puerto Rico titulada "Videojuegos y Cultura". Además, es miembro fundador de la Asociación de Desarrolladores de Juegos de Puerto Rico (PRGDA por sus siglas en inglés).
Video game developer with a focus on project management and programming. Has been active in the video game industry in Puerto Rico for the past 6 years. Has a passion for the entire process of game development and the psychology behind it.
